Dental health, a big problem

For us going to the dentist is routine. We grew up with dental care, necessary corrections and preservations. If we need new teeth, our health inscurance covers most of the cost.

The situation in poor countries is completely different: There is either a lack of dental care, none at all, or people are unable to pay for a treatment which results in : crooked, rotting, or lost teeth.

Our dentists are helping by shipping medical equipment from either closed or newly renovated offices to poor islands like Capverde. But so much more needs to be done.
